Itinerary

1. Day 01

   HANOI - TUAN CHAU – CAT BA ISLAND (-)
   Transfer from Old Quarters (Hanoi) to Tuan Chau Ferry Terminal (driver only).  Then take a shared ferry to Cat Ba Island (takes about 50 minutes) (at guest’s own expense). Our driver will pick you up at Gia Luan Ferry Terminal for transfer to hotel/resort. Overnight on Cat Ba Island. Please note:  Ferry schedule from Tuan Chau to Gia Luan (from 30th April – 30th September): 7:30 am, 11:30 am, 15:00 pm  Ferry schedule from Tuan Chau to Gia Luan (from 1st October – 15th  April): 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 11:30 am, 13:30 am, 15:00 pm  Hotel check-in time is around 14.00  
2. Day 02

   CAT BA BEACH RELAX (B)
   Cat Ba Island is the largest island in the Cat Ba Archipelago and was designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2005. Known for its stunning natural landscapes and seascapes, the island offers a range of activities to suit every traveler.  Enjoy free time at your leisure—whether relaxing on the beaches, trekking through pristine forests, or exploring the diverse wildlife. Located just off the coast, Lan Ha Bay provides a quieter and more affordable alternative to the busy Halong Bay, making Cat Ba Island the perfect escape from Hanoi. Overnight on Cat Ba Island. Optional tour 1:  HALF-DAY TREKKING CAT BA NATIONAL PARK (JOINING-IN TOUR) 8:30 The transfer picks you up from your hotel in Cat Ba town to Cat Ba National Park. If you stay out of town, kindly contact us for a convenient pick-up point. 9:00 After getting some practical suggestions from your tour guide, you start trekking for about 1 hour to Ngu Lam Peak on the well-paved steps, passing through Kim Giao forest. You will enjoy the biodiversity with green layers of trees covered along the way, bringing fresh air and an authentic feeling of nature. The road gradually increases in difficulty, with some bends around the sharp, rugged cliffs, but uncomplicated enough that the majority of visitors can experience it. Especially the last 300m before reaching the top of Ngu Lam, with cliffs and surrounded by old tree roots, will be a very cool experience. When you reach the top of Ngu Lam, you can stretch your eyesight over cloud seas to a far distance and view the whole National Park lying in the marvelous emerald water of Lan Ha Bay. Take a short rest for photography in 20 minutes. Then walk down to return to the foot of the mountain. 10:30 Our local tour guide leads you to Trung Trang Cave, a natural cave system through the mountain with a length of about 300m and has stalactite formations with various unique shapes. Trung Trang cave also preserves many traces of the Vietnam nation's heroic history. Legend has it that foreign invaders have repeatedly invaded Cat Ba archipelago because this is an important strategic site of our country. Monarch Trung Trang summoned men to the sea to fight the enemy to protect the homeland and the people on the island. After helping the people repel the enemy, Monarch Trung Trang returns to this cave to protect the island's peaceful life. Since then, the people on the island named it Trung Trang cave. 11:30 After visiting Trung Trang cave, the transfer picks you up and returns to Cat Ba town, ending the journey with the best feelings! 3. Day 03

   CAT BA BEACH RELAX (B)
   Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy free time at your leisure (no services provided). Overnight on Cat Ba Island. Optional tour 2:  LAN HA BAY DAY TOUR FROM CAT BA ISLAND (JOINING-IN TOUR) 7:30 Pick up from your hotel. 8:00 Check-in on the cruise, and enjoy welcome drinks and friendly smiles from our crew. The tour guide then provides key information about the cruise, itineraries, and other notes. Our captain steers the cruise slowly, and the poetic scenery of Cai Beo's ancient fishing village constantly appears with floating houses lying along the mountainside. You will be surprised at the peaceful beauty of this 7,000-year-old village.It's time to learn more about the local fishers, their daily life, and the cultural values shared by our experienced guides. The cruise moves further into the core of the bay where you can't help but be amazed by the gift of Mother Nature: a large bay area, the phenomenal emerald water embracing hundreds of rocky islands of various sizes and shapes. 8:30 The cruise will stop at a floating house after weaving through hundreds of large and small rocky islands. Next, you will row your KAYAK across the cave Tai Kéo to see the vivid scenery of the underwater world. If the tide is too high (the water level rises to the cave entrance), for your safety, kayak outside of the cave only. 11:30 Lunch served with Cat Ba fresh seafood and Vietnamese traditional food. Kindly inform us if you have a special request for food vegetarian. 13:15: The cruise heads back to the harbor. Enjoying the romantic landscape of Lan Ha Bay 14:30 - 14:45- It is a precious time for our team to express our sincere thanks for using our service. 4. Day 04

   CAT BA ISLAND – TUAN CHAU – HANOI (B)
   After breakfast, free at leisure till your transfer to Gia Luan Ferry Terminal. Take the ferry head to Ha Long (at guest’s own expenses) . Transfer back to Old Quarters (Hanoi) Please note:  Ferry schedule from Tuan Chau to Gia Luan (from 30th April – 30th September): 9:00 am, 11:30 am, 13:00 pm, 15:00 pm, 16:00 pm Ferry schedule from Tuan Chau to Gia Luan (from 1st October – 15th  April): 9:00 am, 13:00 am, 16:00 pm  Hotel check-out time is around 12.00 End of service.
