Day 02Bangkok - City tour (B/-/-)Breakfast at hotel. Departure by bus from the hotel for a tour along Bangkok’s main avenues until reaching the bustling Chinatown district, where we make our first stop: Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses a 5-ton solid gold Buddha statue steeped in history—it remained hidden for centuries under a layer of plaster to prevent its destruction during wartime. Our next stop will be Wat Pho, or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, one of the largest reclining Buddhas in the world at 46 meters long, whose feet feature a spectacular engraving of 108 images representing positive Buddhist actions. We then visit the impressive Grand Palace complex, a symbol of the city and the former official residence of the King of Thailand from the 18th century to the mid-20th century, considered one of the most beautiful in the world for its exquisite blend of traditional Thai and Renaissance styles. The visit to the Grand Palace includes Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important temple in Thailand. Back to hotel. Overnight in Bangkok. Note: For the Grand Palace visit, long trousers to the ankles and long or elbow-length sleeves are required.

Day 04Hanoi city tour (B/-/-)Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, we will start our city tour from Ba Dinh Square where the most solemn ceremonies of Hanoi take place. We first visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (Closed on Monday and Friday) where is the last rest place of Ho Chi Minh President, we then visit One-Pillar pagoda nearby with unique architecture first built on 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong. Continue visiting Ho Chi Minh Residence including the wooden ethnic minority style house, which was built on stilts, is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens and his fish pond. Go to Hoa Lo Prison, also known as the “Hanoi Hilton,” which served as a prison during the French colonial period and later held American prisoners of war. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the history of Vietnam’s struggle for independence, see the preserved cells, and explore the museum exhibits that tell the stories of both Vietnamese revolutionaries and prisoners during wartime. Lunch at a local Restaurant (on your own cost). Afternoon, have an overall view of the capital by a “cyclo” visit, which will go through the fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts and from medicines to tombstones. Late afternoon we will enjoy a unique fascinating show of Water Puppetry, a traditional stage art of Northern Vietnam. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 05Hanoi - Halong Bay - overnight on cruise (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. At around 8.30 AM, pick up by driver (no guide escort) transfer to Halong Bay (apx~ 3 hours transfer), the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a natural heritage site designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. Upon arrival in Halong, you can check in the cruise overnight to discover the magnificent beauty of this “descending dragon” bay created by thousands of oddly shaped limestone cliffs and karst grottoes. After a lunch on board, we can visit the grottoes, swim or kayak, pass by floating houses and get close to the islands to enjoy their beauty up close. Back to the cruise, enjoy the cooking demonstration before dinner. In the evening, attend activities on the boat or relax as you wish. Overnight on board. Day 06Halong Bay - Flight to Danang - Hoi An (B/BR/-)Suggested flight time: VN 187 DAD HAN 17:00 – 18:25 (airfares are not included in the package rate) You should get up early to enjoy the early morning dawn on the sea. The Vietnamese call "the East Sea" by a point oriented name "the eastern sea", so you can guess like a miracle to see the sunrise over the small islands of the bay. After breakfast, our boat will continue to cruise in wonderful areas where almost every island has its own name, shape or reminder such as Man Head Island, Turtle Island, Sail Island, etc... Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise returns to the pier. Disembark from the cruise and our driver will take you to Hanoi airport for your flight to Da Nang. Arrrival Da Nang, pick up by driver & guide transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 07Hoi An ancient town (B/-/-)Breakfast at hotel. Pick up by driver & guide pepart for Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit Hoi An Ancient town: Phung Hung Ancient House: It is a typical commercial house of Vietnam's urban areas in the 19th century. Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall: This is a structure considered the root of Japan Remains. Japanese Bridge: This beautiful little bridge is emblematic of Hoi An. Taking a walk on the street along the Hoai River, enjoy the night life of Hoi An Town. Colorful lanterns are hung on in front of the houses, across the streets and paths all around the town. This beauty is going to make you feel peaceful, serene and want to last this walk for ever. Back to hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 08Hoi An (optional tour Golden Hand bridge)- Danang - flight to Siem Reap (B/-/-)Suggested flight time: K6 841 DAD SAI 16:25 – 17:25 (airfares are not included in the package rate) Breakfast at hotel. Free time in the morning. At scheduled time, pick up by driver (no guide escort) transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, pick up by driver and guide transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap. Optional tour: Ba Na hills – Golden Bridge Picked up by driver and a tour guide at your hotel lobby, enjoy a ride to Ba Na Hills via Cable Car. Spend your time in the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit Dream Stream Cable car Station and admire the breath-taking view of Da Nang coastal city. After finishing the first cable car, you will visit The Golden Bridge – which has the most exotic structure and also the world’s most prominent pedestrian bridges highlighted by the British Guard newspaper, Le Jardin D’amourn (consists of 9 gardens), Linh Ung pagoda. Sit on the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village where you could enjoy Street Music, watch Art’s statue, Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome… Lunch on your own arrangement. Take the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to many new attractions for check-in such as Helios waterfall, Time Gate, and The Moon Kingdom or Fantasy Park. After that, return to the Cable Car for leaving Ba Na Hills. Transfer directly to Danang international airport for departure flight. Please note: Wax Museum entrance fee (USD 5/pax), Debay Wine Cellar entrance fee (USD 5/pax for Silver ticket, including 1 glass of wine, or cocktail, or fruit juice), coin games at Fantasy Park are not included in the entrance ticket, joining them will be at your own account. Day 09Siem Reap - Angkor temples (B/-/-)Today is dedicated to the famous temples of Angkor Wat. For the early-rises, join the group for a once in a lifetime experience as we watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat temples before returning back to the hotel for breakfast. Following breakfast we’ll head off to begin discovering the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. There isn’t much that matches the magnificence of this temple complex, one of the largest religious monuments ever built. The temple complex covers about 500 acres and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. This 12th-century masterpiece is considered to be a prime example of classic Khmer art and architecture and its depiction appears on the national flag. Built to represent Mount Meru, its distinctive five towers symbolise the five peaks of the mountain; the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolises the ocean. We first visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom City, Byon. Angkor Thom was once the capital of the Khmer empire. See the well preserved South Gate, with its huge statues depicting the Hindu mythology of the Churning of the Ocean of Milk. We’ll visit Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. We’ll also see the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, we will explore Ta Prohm Temples. The jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight with enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers entwined in the stone foundations of the traditional structure, giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. We’ll explore this masterpiece as well as some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevado before returning to the hotel where the rest of evening at leisure. Day 11Saigon city tour (optional Cu Chi tunnels)(B/-/-)Breakfast at hotel. We started the city tour at the Reunification Palace, the witness of The Resistance War Against America ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. Please note: Exhibition Hall entrance is not included Nearby the Palace are the colonial-styled Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks. Our last stop this morning will be the War Remnants Museum. Back to hotel and the rest of day is at your leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. Optional tour: Cu Chi tunnels Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a scenic drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during The Resistance War Against America. Once there, you'll explore the tunnels, including living quarters, kitchens, hospitals, and storage areas, gaining insight into how locals survived and fought during the war. You'll also have the chance to crawl through some of the tunnels to experience the conditions firsthand. Along the way, you'll see military artifacts, booby traps, and weapons used during the war. Back to your hotel. Day 12Saigon departure (optional Mekong delta)(B/-/-)Breakfast at hotel. At scheduled time, pick up by driver (no guide escort) transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of service. Please note! Hotel check-out time is around 12.00 Optional tours: Mekong Delta tour with lunch (Ben Tre) Early morning, transfer to Ben Tre. Arriving at Ham Luong dock, board the moto-boat & cruise along Ham Luong River, a tributary to the Mekong River. The cool breeze from the river and lush tropical islets along its banks will immediately get you excited to explore all the great things ahead. Arrive and visit various local workshops where you can find many wonderful examples or learn how local people use ageless techniques to create their crafts, including activated charcoal, dried coconut, handy coconut husk brooms. There are many family-businesses that are using coir, or coconut fiber, to create amazing art, it’s time for you to learn and witness their skill. Drive around the village roads by “Xe Lôi” – a local motorized rickshaw then kayaking through the lush tropical canal. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Break time, treating yourself by cycling around the village or walking around to relish the beautiful countryside (this activity is optional if time available and will be done on your own). Visit the local fruit plantation, enjoy seasonal tropical fruits, and spend time relaxing while being rowed in a small boat slowly crossing the natural canals to get a sense of how truly beautiful this area is. Embark on the sampan and return to the dock then back to Saigon.
